Mr. Joe Harold Norton, age 84 of Eastanollee, passed away Monday October 2, 2023 at his home.

Born June 17, 1939 in Franklin County, GA, he was a son of the late Enoch Johnson and Queen Victoria Elizabeth Cobb Norton.

Mr. Norton was a United States Army Veteran.  He was a member of Liberty Hill Church and retired from Miliken – Humphrey Plant.

Family members include his wife of 54 years, Karen Rice Norton; sons, Hal Norton and Mallissa Worley, and Jonathan Norton; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Doug Caudell; grandchildren, Sydney Caudell and her fiancé, Jonathan Hughes, Zachary and Abbie Caudell, Mason Norton, and Reed Norton; a sister, Betty Jean LaPrade; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruth Scott, Clara Reed, Thomas Norton, and Frances Collins.

The family will receive friends at the Mortuary from 1pm until the service hour on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

A Memorial service will be held at three o'clock, Thursday October 5, 2023, from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. David Masters and the Rev. Cody Kelley officiating.
