Mrs. Jessie Mae Sheriff Smith, age 92, of Stone Mountain, GA, formerly of Toccoa, passed away Friday, July 11, 2020 at Hope Memory Center in Dacula, GA.

Born July 21, 1927 in Simpsonville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Daisy Jordan Sheriff and was the widow of Bennie Hall Smith.

She was a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Stone Mountain and she was a retired Real Estate Agent.

Family members include her son, Richard Smith of Stone Mountain, GA; her sister, Marilyn Martin and her sister-in-law, Barbara Sheriff Norris both of Toccoa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Milford, Ruth Huston, and Virginia Terrell; her brothers, Bernard Sheriff, Charles Sheriff, and Edwin Sheriff; and by two nephews and one niece.

Cryptside services will be held at one o'clock Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Stephens Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with the Rev. Beau Bradberry officiating.

Entombment will follow.

Jessie loved her family and always enjoyed family gatherings.  She will be greatly missed.
