Mr. Jesse Davis Bulluck, Jr., age 98, of Toccoa, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Oaks at Scenic View.

Born October 27, 1923 in Rocky Mount, NC, he was the son of the late Jesse Davis Bulluck and the late Ruth Louise Beatrice Baars Bulluck.

Davis was a Christian, a United States Navy Veteran, and a Southern Gentleman.  He received his Bachelor's Degree from The University of Florida and was the owner of Toccoa Insurance Agency. Davis was Co-Founder with Andy Griner of the Toccoa Bird Club for over 20 years.  He also traveled extensively to many locations for bird watching.  He identified over 1000 species.  He was an Eagle Scout and went on to earn additional honors with Boy Scouts of America.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed carving birds and duck decoys.

Family members include his children, Christy Bulluck Johnson (David – Deceased) of Maysville, GA, Daniel Davis Bulluck of Toccoa, and James William Bulluck of the home; sister, Frances Marie Bulluck of Clarkesville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sullivan Bulluck; and a brother, Fred Jefferson Bulluck.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:30 pm – 2:45 pm Sunday, January 23, 2022.  Graveside services will be held at three o'clock Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Roselane Cemetery.  Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gideon's or to the Church or Charity of choice.
