Mr. Jerry Edward Segars, Sr., age 57, of Toccoa, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Seasons Hospice in Cumming, GA after an extended illness.

Born June 28, 1964 in Toccoa, he was the son of Patsy Edmonds Segars and the late Joe Dan Segars.

He was a member of Christ Fellowship and was employed with Powell Trucking for many years.

Family members include his wife of the home, Trish Gadomski Segars; his mother, Patsy Edmonds Segars of Toccoa; his children, Marie Segars and Chris Bell of Toccoa, Eddie Segars and Amanda Nations of Jefferson, and Jacob Segars of Toccoa; grandchildren, Christina Bell and Dixie Segars; brother, Ricky "Zag" Segars of Toccoa; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services were held at one o'clock Friday, October 15, 2021 at Roselane Cemetery with Rev. Scott Collett and Mr. Jacob Segars officiating.

Burial followed.

Bradley "Cooter" Crunkleton, Tracy Addison, Darrell Wood, Tim Ledford, Jacob Segars, and Chad Sellers served as pallbearers. Chris Bell served as honorary pallbearer.

The family received friends at the mortuary prior to the service on Friday.
