Mrs. F. Jenene Crenshaw Broadwater, age 85, of Toccoa, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born February 26, 1937 in Shreveport, LA, she was the daughter of the late Baker and Pearl Riggs Crenshaw.
She was a member of Toccoa First United Methodist Church and was a retired Teacher's Assistant. Frances was employed with the Stephens County School System for six years.
Family members include her husband of 65 years, Elton E. Broadwater, Jr.; sons, Elton E. Broadwater, III of Toccoa and Kevin Dale Broadwater of Greenville, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Gale Morris and Michael of Greenville, SC; grandson, Matthew Lee Morris of Los Angeles, CA, granddaughter, Ashley Broadwater of North Carolina; brothers, Tommy Crenshaw and Jerry Crenshaw both of TX; and many precious nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm until the service hour on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday, February 24, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Chaplain Kimberly Morris officiating.
Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Roger Poole, Elton Broadwater, III, Kevin Broadwater, Mike Morris, and Jim Thomas.
