Mrs. Jeanette Bohannon Walker, age 88, of Gainesville, GA, formerly of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at her home.

Born October 8, 1936 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Cletus and Leona Howard Bohannon.

Mrs. Walker retired from Fieldale Corporation, and was of the Baptist faith.  She especially loved her little dog, Sally.

Family members include her daughters, Wanda Holbrooks (Ed) of Cornelia, GA and Sandra Sears of Gainesville, GA; son, James Fain; son-in-law, Paul Paradise; sisters, Mary Likely and Carolyn Bohannon (Henry); brothers, Richard Bohannon (Mary Ann), Bill Bohannon (Christine) and Cletus Bohannon (Donna); eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Laverne Walker, and daughter, Pam Holbrooks.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm - 8pm  Thursday, February 13, 2025, and from 1pm until the service time on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Cryptside services will be held at two o'clock Friday, February 14, 2025 at Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ray Bohannon officiating.  Entombment will follow.

Paul Paradise, Robert Blickenderfer, Brandon Holbrooks, Landon Collins and Ed Holbrooks will serve as pallbearers.

Flowers are optional.  Memorial donations may be made to the Toccoa - Stephens County Humane Shelter at tschs.org.
