Mrs. Jeanette Yearwood Findley, age 88, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at her home.

Born August 7, 1934 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Bethel "B. C." and Alice Ione Ellard Yearwood. She was a homemaker and was a member of Old Toccoa Baptist Church, and The Eastern Star, Grand Chapter Toccoa Lodge 294.

Family members include her children, Teresa Y. McCroskey, Felix Findley, Jr., Tim (Peggy) Findley, Vivian (Jerry) Norris, and Jennifer Findley; sister, Evelyn Pointer; grandchildren, Tracy McCroskey, Stacy (Leslie) McCroskey, Angela (Carter) Higginbotham, Reanna (Troy) Hampton, Ashley (Chad) Ward and Kyle (Alisha) Findley; 15 Great-grandchildren; 4 Great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Sara Owens and Shirley Ledford.

Mrs. Findley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Felix Findley, Sr., and a daughter, Karen Findley.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1 pm until the funeral hour on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Sunday, March 26, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Roger Elrod and the Rev. Vic Blackwell officiating.
Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Tracy McCroskey, Stacy McCroskey, Kyle Findley, Chad Ward, Kenny Yearwood, and Chuck Evans. Honorary pallbearers include Huntley Ward, Findley Ward, Kooper Findley, and Kelson Findley.

Flowers are optional, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Mrs. Jeanette Findley.

The family will be at Jeanette's home.
