Mrs. Janice Sons Sibley, age 78, of Toccoa, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born July 17, 1944 in New Orleans, LA, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Miriam Forsyth Sons.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was a homemaker.  Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Family members include her husband, Joe Sibley, Jr.; sons and a daughter-in-law, Buck Simonson of St. Louis, MO and Brett and Chanda Simonson of Toccoa; grandchildren, Matt and Olivia Simonson, Bryan Simonson, and Jesse Simonson; great-grandchildren, Alexander Simonson, Ashton Simonson, Artie Simonson, and Jasper Simonson; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Vincent Ferrara.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Simonson, Jr.; and by her sister, Faye Lovas.

The family will receive friends at St. Mary Catholic Church from 1pm until 2:45pm Friday, December 9, 2022.

Funeral Mass will be held at three o'clock Friday, December 9, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church.
