Mr. James Wayne "Jay" Leach, Jr., age 48, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Born September 29, 1975 in Newton County, GA, he was the son of James Wayne Leach, Sr. and the late Sandra Mae Aycox Leach.

Jay was employed with Coach USA, was a referee for Pro Wrestling, and he loved to play softball.  He was a member of Bethel Christian Church in Conyers, GA.

Family members include his father; wife, Cathryn Tran of the home; mother-in-law, Van Tran; uncle Joe Aycox (Peggy); aunt, Joanne McLaughlin; sisters-in-law, Hanh Tran and Loan Tran (Ly Ha); brothers-in-law, John Tran (Duong Nguyen); nephews, Daniel Tran and Patrick Ha; and a niece, Jessica Ha.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm until the service on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Memorial services will be held at three o'clock Sunday, September 8, 2024 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Mr. Joe Aycox and Quyen Ha officiating.
