Mr. James Robert Watson, age 95, of Martin, GA, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born March 3, 1927, in Rossville, GA, he was the son of the late Thelma Duke and Roy William Watson.

James worked for Ford Motor Company as an assembly line worker and is a Veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by a daughter, Elaine Watson Lyon (Doug) of Cumming, GA; sons Waine Watson of Dallas, GA, Tim Watson (Wendy) of Conyers, GA, and Eric Watson, of Martin, GA; grandchildren Bradley Lyon (Nicole), Brandon Lyon (Ashley), Jennifer Henderson (Andy), Chad Watson, Heather Hinman (Joseph), Colin Watson and Chase Watson; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Ann Moore Watson.

The family will receive friends from 2pm until 4pm Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday, June 26, 2022, from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy.
