Mr. James Michael Shurley, age 69, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born June 21, 1951 in Thomaston, GA, he was the son of the late James Elijah Shurley, Jr. and Colleen McCluskey Shurley.

He was retired from Publix as a produce manager and was of the Baptist faith.  Mr. Shurley served in the United States Army Reserves.

Family members include his sister, Anne Shurley of Toccoa; and a son, Michael Shurley of Texas.

A private Graveside Service will be held at Roselane Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Rettew officiating.

Burial will follow.
