Mr. James Richard "Ricky" Gibson, age 52, of Augusta, GA, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at Wellstar Medical College in Augusta, GA.

Born November 5, 1972 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of Karen Still Gibson and the late James Douglas Gibson.

Mr. Gibson was a self-employed mechanic, and was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed Georgia football, working on cars and woodworking.

Family members include his mother, Karen Still Gibson of Augusta, GA; daughter, Makayla Doss; brother, Randy Gibson (Deirdre); sister, Jennifer Gibson; nephews, Andrew Gibson, Brady Willis and Ethan Chett McDaniel; and niece, Ashlynn Gibson.

No services are planned at this time.
