Steve Curd

Mr. James Stephen "Steve" Curd, age 71 of Toccoa, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his home.

Born December 5, 1948 in Marion, NC, he was the son of the late Luther Alvin Curd, Jr., and the late Dorothy Irene Ray Curd.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and owned and operated Custom Fences and Decks.  Steve was a United States Navy Veteran.  He enjoyed Georgia Bulldog Football and watching wrestling.  He was an avid pitbull advocate and loved animals.

Family members include his wife of the home, Nancy Byrd Curd; daughters and a son-in-law, Dixie Curd of Toccoa and Kimberly and Shaun Norrie of CA; son, Jay Curd of CA; four grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Curd's wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
