Mr. James Clifford "Jimmy" Miller, Jr., age 50, of Lavonia, GA passed away Thursday,

July 8, 2021 at Athens Piedmont Regional Hospital.

Born July 17, 1970, he was a son James Clifford Miller, Sr. and Jacquelyn Ruth Walker Miller.

He was of the Presbyterian Faith and attended Lavonia Presbyterian Church.  Jimmy was a 1988 graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville.  He was formerly employed with Quality Foods starting at the age of 15 as a bagger, meat manager and later meat & produce supervisor over all stores.  Jimmy loved his family, especially his girls and their families, and his nieces and nephews.  He also loved hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, traveling, entertaining, cooking, and the Georgia Bulldogs.  He was the life of the party wherever he went and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Family members include his parents, James and Jackie Miller; daughters and sons-in-law, Ashley and Adam Cave of Winder, GA and Kelsey and T. J. Mobley of Statham, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Debie Miller and Stanley Cooper and Sonya and Lee Best all of Braselton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Jamie Miller of Lavonia, GA; grandchildren, Sydney Cave, Sawyer Mobley, and Walker Mobley; nieces and nephews, Cliff Best, Justin and Kimberly Best, Avery Miller, and Eric Miller; and three great- nieces; aunts and uncles, Mary Ann and Ron Whiten, Sara Jane and Ralph Kellar all of Greenville, SC and Cathy Miller of Gainesville, GA.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cliff and Sara Miller and Jack and Ruth Walker; uncle, David Miller; aunts and uncle, Laura Scott, and Jane and Ken Burns; and his son-in-law, Jarred Scruggs.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Monday, July 12, 2021 and from 12:30 until the service on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jennifer Horton officiating.  Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

Flowers are optional.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
