Mr. Jackie Knox "Goober" Finley, age 67, of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at his home.

Born November 9, 1954 in Marietta, GA, he was the son of the late Clarence C. and Mary Belle Anderson Finley.

He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railway with 30 years of service and was a member of Old Toccoa Baptist Church.

Family members include his wife, Shelia Gloss Finley of the home; daughter Kimberly Gail Finley of Eastanollee; brothers and a sister-in-law, James M. Finley of Tellico Plains, TN, and Milton and Gwen Finley of Waleska, GA; brother-in-law, Roger Dale Gloss; sisters-in-law, Tammie Jourdanais, Carrie Lancaster, and Millie Herrington; honorary brother, Christopher Gloss, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Charles Finley.

The family will receive friends at Old Toccoa Baptist Church from 1pm – 3pm Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Memorial Services will follow at three o'clock Wednesday, March 2, 2022 with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty, the Rev. Paul Jameson, and the Rev. Robbie Finley officiating.
