Mr. Daniel Shockley, age 57, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at his home.

Born October 5, 1964 in Toccoa, he was the son of Sylvia Ann Simmons Shockley and the late Thomas Shockley, Jr.

He was employed with Marel, Inc. and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Family members include his mother, Sylvia Ann Shockley of Toccoa; his son, Chandler Shockley of Athens; children and their spouses, Blake and Amy Nesbit and Morgan and Caleb Carter all of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Teressa Shockley; sisters and a brother-in-law, Gina and Edward McMillan and Melody Scovack; grandchildren, Bailee Adams, Raegan Nesbit, Kyndall Nesbit, Camdyn Nesbit, and Owen Nesbit; nephew, Barry Shockley; nieces, Amanda Shockley, Sarah McMillan, and Abby McMillan.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until the service hour on Thursday, February 3, 2022.

Memorial services will be held at two o'clock Thursday, February 3, 2022 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Brother Peter Campbell officiating.
