Mrs. Imogene Busha Price, age 79, of Toccoa passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at The Veranda at Carnesville.

Born June 30, 1943 in Franklin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lula Mae Weaver Busha.

Mrs. Price was a graduate of the cosmetology program at North Georgia Technical College where she met her husband, Terry.  She was a momma to her two girls until she decided to be a substitute teacher when Chanda was 5.  She substituted for almost 40 years in the Stephens County School System.  She served as a Blue Bird troop leader and as President of the Big A Elementary PTA.  She served on the Alumni Board at North Georgia Technical College.  She was a member of Earl Rochester's Sunday School class at Ebenezer Baptist Church.  She loved and spoiled her granddaughters rotten.  She made the best biscuits, sugar cookies, and green beans.

Family members include daughters, Candace Price of Toccoa, and Chanda Foster (Mark) of Lavonia, GA; granddaughters Shelby Cane, Amelia Cane and Lydia Cane; sister, Beverly Ann Busha of Hartwell, GA; and brother, Tony Busha of Canon, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Terry Price.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Lodge officiating.

Entombment will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The Earl Rochester Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.  The 1963 Friends of North Georgia Tech are asked to attend as honorary pallbearers.

Flowers are optional.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter, at 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA  30346.
