Hershel Ray Bolmon, age 79, of Eastanollee, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born August 9, 1942 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late Claude Lamar and Ila Mae Turner Bolmon.

He was of the Baptist Faith and was formerly employed with John's Roofing.  Hershel loved his grandchildren.  He enjoyed fishing and playing pool in his younger days.

Family members include his daughters and son-in-law, Donna and Phillip Martin of Toccoa and Toni Bowden of Eastanollee; son and daughter-in-law, Marty Bolman and Andria Kipp of Toccoa; sister-in-law, Thelma Bolmon of Grenville, SC; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Russell Bolmon; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Donna Griffin; brothers and a sister-in-law, William Bolmon, and Harold and Sue Bolmon.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 11 am until the service on Monday, October 18, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Monday, October 18, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Derrick Woody officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

Marty Bolman, Ethan Bolmon, Aaron Bolmon, Dusty Bolmon, and Travis Jordan will serve as pallbearers.
