Gwendolyn Ann McMurry Kelley, age 83, of Toccoa passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at The Oaks at Scenic View in Baldwin, GA.

Born July 31, 1941 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Ony Mitchell McMurry and Viola Savage McMurry.

Gwendolyn retired from Standard Register, and she was a member of The Pointe Church. She enjoyed being in the mountains and spending time with her family.

Family members include her husband, Knox Howard Kelley, of Seneca, SC; daughter, Denise Shehane (Philip); son, Brent Collins (Christie); grandchildren, Jonathan Shehane (Audrey), Kara Morris (Philip) and Kevin Collins; great-grandchildren, Philip Shehane, Dwight Shehane, Isaiah Lee, Erin Shehane, Judah Lee, Haiden Kelley and Caleb Morris; sisters, Olivia Adams, Elwanda Richmond (Ray) and Delores Kirkland (Steve); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Harry Collins, and grandson, Cameron Kelley.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12pm until the service hour on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday, August 31, 2024 in the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Jerry Chitwood and Pastor Chad Smith officiating.

Entombment will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Philip C. Shehane, Jonathan Shehane, Philip H. Shehane, Brock Adams, Gary Knight and Philip Morris.
