Mrs. Gloria McFarlin Stovall, age 82, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday morning, February 12, 2025 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born March 18, 1942 in Franklin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Cordie Ayers McFarlin.

She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  Gloria worked at Coats and Clark for a few years.  She also worked for Dr. Bladowski and was a Substitute Teacher.  Gloria enjoyed traveling and eating out with her friends.

Family members include her husband of 60 years, Bill Stovall; son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Rhonda Stovall; grandson, Brady Stovall; niece, Susan Norris; nephew, Barry Barnes; niece, Regenna Smith; nephew, Wally Jordan; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Freddie and Eugene Barnes.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 5pm – 8pm Thursday, February 13, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at four o'clock Friday, February 14, 2025 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Dr. Jamie Smith and the Rev. Andy Childs officiating.

Entombment will follow at Roselane Mausoleum.

Jerry Owenby, Larry McFarlin, Claude Weaver, Kermit Dawson, Joe Whitlock, and Ron Allen will serve as pallbearers.
