George Robert Larimore, Jr., age 58, of Frankford, DE, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 as the result of an accident.

Geroge was born on March 5, 1965 son of the late George Robert Larimore, Sr. and the late Dorothy (Jowett) Larimore.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a highly decorated officer, retiring after 22 years of service with a rank of E-8 First Sergeant.  During his career in the military, he completed four combat tours receiving two Bronze Stars along with numerous other accolades.

After his discharge from the military, he began another career working his way up the corporate ladder serving as President and holding other numerous executive positions and was currently serving as the President of Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating, Inc.  He loved spending time on his boat, smoking a good cigar and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.  Above all else, George loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Peyton Jeffrey Larimore and a sister, Charlene Butch.  George is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Christi (Bleckley) Larimore; two sons, George Robert Larimore, III and his wife, Veronica Theresa Larimore of Seaford, DE and Preston Jeffrey Larimore of home and two sisters, Dorothy Pena of Houston, TX and Linda Cinalli of San Antonio, TX.

A memorial service to celebrate George's life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, DE 19945, where friends and family may call after 10 AM.  Interment with military honors will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
