Mr. Garrett Daniel Looney, age 21, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his home.  Born December 5, 1998 in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of Tony and Kerry Steele Looney.

Garrett graduated from Stephens County High School in 2018 and he attended Ebenezer Baptist Church.  Garrett assisted in the Office and hall Ways at Stephens County High School.  Garrett was a kind, loveable guy, and he brought a smile and joy wherever he went.  He was the "Social Butterfly" at the High School.

Family members include his parents, Tony and Kerry Steele Looney of the home; sister and brother-in-law, Candy and Crandall Yearwood; niece, Rylee McIntyre; uncle, Richard Looney; grandfather, Papa Dan Steele; uncle and aunt, Kelly Dan Steele, "Kelly Boy" and Elizabeth Steele, "Jelly Bean"; cousins, Kelsey Jean Steele, Kensley Alexis Steele, and Sammy Steele.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jean Cheek Steele and Herbert and Betty Jo Looney.

Funeral services will be held at four o'clock Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Mr. Kelly Dan Steele and the Rev. Andy Childs officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Hank Knight, Jerry Snell, Crandall Yearwood, John McIntyre, Ricky Thompson, and Larry Isbell.  Timothy Mitchell will serve as honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends at Whitlock's from 4pm – 6pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
