Mr. Eric Shannon Lovell, age 59, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home, with his family by his side.

Born September 20, 1964 in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of Maebell Wiley Lovell and the late Texas Grey Lovell.

He was a member of Carnes Creek Baptist Church and was employed with Wrigley's.  Eric enjoyed hunting, fishing, refurbishing Three Brothers Fish Camp, and spending time with Leah, his children, friends and family.

Family members include his wife of 17 years, Leah Parrilla Lovell; his mother, Maebell Wiley Lovell of Alto, GA; sons, Shannon Lovell of Franklin, NC and Jesse Lovell of Toccoa; daughters, Krystal Lovell and Asia Lovell both of Toccoa; brothers, Randy Lovell of Eatonton, GA, and Brett Lovell of Toccoa; sisters, Angela McGowan and Sherry Bratten both of Toccoa; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Thursday, May 16, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Friday, May 17, 2024 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Jason DeFoor and Pastor Parker Garrett officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Jason Poore, Todd Ford, Duncan Lovell, Travis Lovell, Logan Lovell, and Carl Pettepher.
