Mrs. Emily Diane Collins Ramey, age 72, of Toccoa passed away December 25, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Born December 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Littleton "Lit" Collins and the late Sarah Irene Adderholt Chastain.

Mrs. Ramey retired as a Production Team Leader at Kautex-Textron in Lavonia, GA, and she was of the Christian faith.

Family members include her sons, Matthew Ramey (Renae) of Mt. Airy, GA, and Chad Lathan of Toccoa; grandchildren, Hunter Ramey (Emily) and McKenzie Ramey; step-children, Tonya Ramey, Robert Ramey (Christy) and Curt Ramey; sisters, Mary Nolan and Etta Roberts (Chuck); sister-in-law, Norma Stewart; and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Curtis Ramey.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12:00pm until the service time Monday, December 30, 2024.

Funeral services will be held from the Chapel at Whitlock Mortuary at 2 o'clock Monday, December 30, 2024 with the Rev. Terry James officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers:  Clayton Dill, Austin Dill, Chad Lathan, Alston Ramey, Charles Forrest and Andy Forrest.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jerry Snell, 575 Rosedale Street, Toccoa, GA  30577.
