Mrs. Elizabeth Canady Starling, age 78, of Toccoa passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born June 18, 1942 in Carnesville, GA she was the daughter of the late Luther and Sallie Sue Poole Canady.

She was a member of the Toccoa Church of Christ and was a retired Beautician and Mail Carrier.  Elizabeth was always a servant to others.

Family members include her husband, Ray Starling of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Mitch and Patti Starling of Lavonia; daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and David Herman of Toccoa; grandchildren, Cassidy Starling and Kirsten Starling; sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and Bill Carnes of Carnesville and Polly and Danny Walker of Royston; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at two-thirty Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the Toccoa Church of Christ with Preacher Norman Pelham officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Robert Gunn, John Payne, Brian Gordon, Roy Whitlock, and Bill Good.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm Saturday, February 6, 2021.

The body will be placed in the Church at one o'clock Sunday, February 7, 2021 to lie-in-state until the funeral hour.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.  Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.
