Ms. Donna Sue Smith, age 62, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at her home.

Born April 16, 1961 in Seneca, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lynn Ray and Eula Mae Swafford Smith.

Ms. Smith was of the Baptist faith, and was a retired machine operator at West Point Stephens.

Family members include her son, Josh Sosebee, of Toccoa; granddaughters, Sabrina Sosebee and Samantha Sosebee, both of Houston, TX; great-granddaughter Cora Dawn Alvarez; step-granddaughter, Ashley Wade, as well as three additional step-granddaughters; sisters, Becky Burrell (Russell), Sandra Holden and Pam Wood (Sammy); sister-in-law, Dawn Bracken

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randall Hester.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Memorial service will be held at two o'clock Saturday, November 18, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Mike Petty officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to assist with funeral expenses.
