Mr. Donald Carrol "Don" Dickinson, age 77, of Toccoa, passed away peacefully at his home Friday, March 26, 2021.

Born September 28, 1943 in Double Springs, AL, he was the son of the late Joel Stanley and Gladys Marie Gray Dickinson.  Don was a partner at Kenneth Norris and Associates.  He was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.  Don was a United States Army Veteran.

Family members include his wife, Jo Hogan Dickinson; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Melvia Lynn Dickinson of Toccoa; daughter-in-law, Shawna Dickinson of Toccoa; grandchildren, Daniel Dickinson, Ashley Dickinson Yergin and Matthew, Courtney Simmons and Morgan, Bailey Dickinson, Caitlyn Dickinson, and Rylee Dickinson; great-grandchildren, Avery Dickinson, Peyton Yergin, and Colson Simmons.  He was preceded in death by his son, Rev. Timothy Dwain Dickinson.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1 pm until 2:30 pm Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at three o'clock Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Roselane Cemetery with Dr. Bob Massey, Bailey Dickinson,

and Rylee Dickinson officiating.  Burial will follow.

Bailey Dickinson, Daniel Dickinson, Matt Yergin, and Morgan Simmons will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.  Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.
