Mrs. Dianne Thompson Anderson, age 75, of Eastanollee, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her home.

Born May 5, 1948 in Stephens County, she was the daughter of the late George Parker and Sarah House Thompson.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and retired from GTE Telephone Company. She was a beloved "Nana" to her grandchildren and loved all animals.

Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Bethany and Bradley Elrod; a son, Dustin Anderson; grandchildren, Zeke Anderson, Dylan Elrod, and Aniston Elrod; brother, Timmy Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel "Shorty" Anderson; and brothers, George Parker Thompson, Jr., and Tommy Royce Thompson.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Wednesday, September 6, 2023 and 1pm – until the service hour on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Memorial services will be held at two o'clock Thursday, September 7, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty, the Rev. Craig Brown, and the Rev. Roger Elrod officiating.
