Mr. Dennis Eugene Phillips, Jr., age 64, of Clarkesville, GA, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC.

Born July 25, 1958 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Dennis Eugene Phillips, Sr. and the late Annie Lois Pless Phillips.

He was a member of United Holiness Church and was employed with Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Family members include his son, Jeremy Phillips of Toccoa; his daughter, Anna Marie Galloway of Clarkesville; his sister, Betty King of Clarkesville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 11:00 am until 1:45pm Friday, July 21, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday, July 21, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Whitlock Mortuary to help with final expenses.
