Mr. Darwin H. Carter, age 86, of Toccoa, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

Born August 10, 1937 in Franklin County, GA, he was a son of the late Paul Hubert and Ethel Payne Carter.

Darwin was the owner of E-Z Bore, Inc. and E-Z Bore Construction.  He was member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Family members include his daughters, Linda Carter and Norris Quinn, Stephanie Grafton and Mark Darrough, and Patricia and Stacy Pulliam; son, Erwin Carter; grandchildren, Ashley and Scott Campbell, Amy and Will Cox, Levi and Megan Pulliam, Sarah Carter, Emmalee Carter, and Macie Carter; great-grandchildren, Carter Cox and Jane Cox; and a sister, Judy Phillips.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ondeen Hallford Carter; a son, Trenton Carter; brother, Marvin Carter; and a sister, Geneva Moore.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm Friday, August 18, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Saturday, August 19, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. David Sosebee officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Petty officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Tim Moore, Jason Moore, John Addison, James London, Erwin Carter, and Shorty Bridges. Ralph Cheek and Daniel Carter will serve as honorary pallbearers.
