Mr. Darin Edward Critchlow, age 58, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born March 30, 1965 in Grove City, PA, he was the son of the late Paul Scott and Janet Jo-Ellen McKivigan Critchlow.

Darin was of the Christian Faith and was the current ISS Principal at Stephens County Schools.  He received his Master degree from Clemson University and he had also worked with Habersham County School Systems and Franklin County School System.

Family members include his wife, Valerie Eltier Roush Critchlow; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Critchlow and Allanna and their three children; daughter, T'Licia Critchlow and her son, Lumiere Wilkes; brother and sister-in-law, Todd Critchlow and Kim; sisters and brothers-in-law, Johnna Simitoski, Angel Siegfried and Kurt, An'Trese Critchlow – Wood and Chris, and  Suzette Critchlow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Thursday, May 18, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Tim White officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

Joshua Critchlow, Todd Critchlow, Jeff Caudell, Tim White, Mark Bowser, Patrick Shurtleff, and Clint Shurtleff will serve as pallbearers.  Jimmy Roush and Lumiere Wilkes will serve as honorary pallbearers.
