Mr. Danny Eugene Skelton, age 78, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026 at his home.

Born October 4, 1947 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late Lewis Eugene and Mary Massey Skelton.

Danny was retired from Inergy Automotive, was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, and was a United States Army Veteran.

Family members include his daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Keith Delahoussaye and Diana and Brian Cartwright all of Toccoa; grandchildren, Danielle McAllister (Mak), Summer Mayes (Jamie), Delta McCurley (Brandon), and Bailee Cartwright; great-grandchildren, Aubrey McAllister, Cabe McAllister, Brooks McAllister, Laney McAllister, Saylor Mayes, Max Mayes, and Beckham McCurley; sister, Janice Skelton Dale (Terry) of North Carolina; niece, Anna Fearrington (Tyler) of North Carolina. Also, Danny's partner, Felicia Bennett, and her family, Lashondra Stager, Wes Bennett, Alonzo Bennett, Soloman Stager, Miriam Stager, Alexis Bennett, Wes Bennett, Jr., and Bryson Bennett.

The family will receive friends from 2pm – 4pm Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Whitlock Mortuary.

No services are planned.
