Mr. Daniel Lee Bales, age 37, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born November 2, 1984 in Toccoa, he was the son of Donald Bales and Robin Ann Maney.

He was employed with Sage Automotive.  Daniel was a loving father and enjoyed fast cars and motorcycles.

Family members include his mother, Robin Maney of Toccoa; his father, Donald Bales; his son, Haydan Bales of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law, Carey and Tracy Maney of Dawsonville; grandfather, James Maney of Clarkesville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Maney; great-grandmother, Cleo Franklin; and grandparents, Bobby and Louise Bales.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm – 3pm Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Saturday, February 5, 2022 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

Carey Maney, Blake Maney, Mike Maney, Jeremy Maney, Brandon Maney, and Johnathan Burrell will serve as pallbearers.  Haydan Bales will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Flowers are optional, those desiring may make memorial donations to a Haydan's College Fund. (Details for donations will be announced soon.)
