Mrs. Connie Mae Kimbrell Roberts, age 66, of Martin, GA, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart in Lavonia, GA.

Born February 9, 1956 in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Betty King Kimbrell.

She was a homemaker and a member of Compassion Baptist Church.  Connie was the matriarch of the family and was a very loving and caring Mother and Grandmother.

Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, James (Jim) and Maria Roberts of Martin; daughter, Kimberly Ellis of Martin; grandsons, James (J. D.) Ellis, Jared Ellis, and Jace Roberts all of Martin; brothers, Jackie Kimbrell, and Kenneth Kimbrell of Schenectady, NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Jim Roberts.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Leon Carson and the Rev. Dale Carson officiating.

Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.

James (Jim) Roberts, James (J. D.) Ellis, Jared Ellis, Hugh Bryant, Jack Carroll, and Kenneth Kimbrell will serve as pallbearers.
