Ms. Clela Annetta Ballard, age 81, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

Born September 6, 1942 in Lycoming County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Madison and Lura Evelyn McGarvey Ballard.

Ms. Ballard was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance, where she also worked.  She was as a missionary nurse in Mali, West Africa, and later served as a nurse for Milliken in Martin, GA.

Family members include her niece, Ginny Ballard; nephews, Steven Hokanson, Wayne Hokanson (Tammy), Kenny Hokanson, (Jen), Jerry Ballard (Joni) and Allan Ballard (Robbin); and sister-in-law, Carolyn Ballard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Carl Hokanson; and her brother and sister-in-law, Lin and Myrna Ballard.

Ms. Ballard's wishes were to be cremated.  No services are planned at this time.
