Mr. Charlie Edward Ivester, age 73, of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born December 13, 1947 in Carnesville, GA, he was the son of the late Junior Adams and the late Grace Jordan Reidling.

Charlie was of the Baptist Faith and was a truck driver with Arnold Trucking.  He was also employed with Trogdon Furniture Company for a number of years.

Family members include his son and daughter-in-law, Frankie Edward and Dreama Denise Ivester of Lavonia; daughter, Angie Ivester of Eastanollee; grandson, and his spouse, Kyle and Jenny Ivester; granddaughter, Danyelle King; great-grandson, Kameron Allen Ivester; sisters, and a brother-in-law, Danny and Shelia Fowler and Deborah Sosby all of Toccoa; brother, Bobby Ivester of Toccoa.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Whitmire Ivester.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 5pm – 7pm Friday, February 26, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at ten o'clock Saturday morning, February 27, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Scott Collette officiating.

Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.  Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Kyle Ivester, Daniel Fowler, Dayton Fowler, Michael Ivester, Zack Ivester, and Jody DeFoor.
