Mr. Charles Walter Stowe, age 84, of Eastanollee, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022.  Born March 24, 1938, in Eastanollee, he was a son of the late James Manson and Minnie Taylor Stowe.

Mr. Stowe graduated from Stephens County High School in 1956.  He was employed with Trogdon Furniture Company for many years and then worked at Coats and Clark – Coats America for 39 ½ years.  Mr. Stowe operated his three poultry houses achieving Top Grower for Columbia Farms for many years.  He also operated a commercial lawn care business.  He was a life-long member of Tom's Creek Baptist Church and served two terms as Deacon.  Charles was a gentle, hard-working, loving family man. His family never heard him swear or raise his voice, or talk negatively about anyone.

Family members include his loving wife of 64 years, Betty Faye Sheriff Stowe of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley Stowe Wyatt and James of Eastanollee and Elaine Stowe Thomas and Mark of Eastanollee; grandchildren, Montana Wyatt, Matthew Wyatt, Max Thomas, and Luke Thomas and Tiffany; two nieces, Wanda Stowe Crumbley of Morganton and Dawn Stowe Fisher of Gainesville.  He was preceded in death by his brother, James Lee Stowe.

Graveside services will be held at 11 o'clock on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Tom's Creek Baptist Church Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Marcus officiating.

Burial will follow.

The following grandchildren will serve as pallbearers: Montana Wyatt, Matthew Wyatt, Max Thomas, and Luke Thomas.
