Mr. Charles David "Charlie" Jillson, age 71, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at his home.

Born March 12, 1950 in Pawtucket, RI, he was a son of the late Charles Edward Jillson and the late Lorraine Antoinette Bean Fontaine.

He was a Correctional Officer with the Rhode Island Department of Corrections for 38 years.  Charlie was a dedicated grandfather who loved to ride motorcycles with his grandson.  He was an avid car, motorcycle, and gun enthusiast and loved buying and selling them as well.

Family members include his daughter, Monique Jillson of RI; grandson, Dylan Fortune of RI; step-sister, Elaine Cabral of TX, sister, Ellie Marino of FL; brother, Fred Fontaine of Martin, GA; nephews, Kent Fontaine, Jack Fontaine, and Alex Fontaine.

A Celebration of Charlie's Life will be held at eleven o'clock Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Whitlock Mortuary.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.  Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.
