Mr. Cecil Neal Collins, age 85, of Carnesville, GA, passed away April 1, 2024 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens.

Born June 8, 1938 in Stephens County, he was the son of the late Thomas Claster (Clas) and Dorothy Smith Collins.

He was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired salesman with Little Debbie.

Family members include his wife, Sara Pilgrim Collins; sons and daughter-in-law,
Chris and Imogene Collins and Greg Collins; brother, Steve Collins; grandchildren, Allison Collins, Will and Tori Collins, Brandon and Brittany Simmons, and Jessica Simmons; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Collins; and his brother, Clifton Collins.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm until the funeral hour on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Phillip Garrett officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.
