Mrs. Catherine Mulkey Addington, age 83, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born November 6, 1937 in Stephens County, she was the daughter of the late John and Edna Mae Davis Mulkey.

Mrs. Addington was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and in her earlier years had worked for WABCO

Family members include her husband, Charles Addington; her son, Tim Addington; granddaughters Amy Addington Garrett and Brooke Addington Janzer and Derick; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Garrett, Maggie Garrett, Kenlie Janzer, Addilyn Catherine Janzer, and Mason Janzer.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary form 1pm until the service hour on Tuesday.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Glenn Owens, Ken Owens, Jacob Garrett, Derick Janzer, Bob Troup, and Greg Bell.

Due to community health concerns, we encourage those attending visitation and the service to wear a mask and to continue to practice social distancing.
