Ms. Carolyn Sue Taylor, age 70, of Martin, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026 at her home.

Born April 13, 1956 in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Partain Farmer.

Ms. Taylor was a registered nurse for 38 years.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She loved Christmas, going to the beach and spending time with her family.

Family members include her daughters, Tracie Gunn (Tim), Daphne Burnette (Chris) and Wendy Crowe; son, Chris Cummings (Brandy); sisters, Pam DeFoor (Doug) and Debbie Dupree; grandchildren, Drake Cummings, Ethan Cummings, Luke Gunn and Michelle Matthews; great-grandchildren, Megan Matthews, Harley Rider and Kole Emory; and best friend, Elaine Sikorski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sherrie Ludwig, and brothers, Butch Farmer and Jimmy Farmer.

Memorial services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday, June 10,2026 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Mike Petty officiating.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Whitlock Mortuary to assist with funeral expenses.
