Carolyn Gail Roach Jordan, age 71, of Winterville, GA, formerly of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at University Nursing and Rehabilitation in Athens, GA.

Born September 25, 1952 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Duard and Sally Louise Cole Roach.

Carolyn retired from Coats and Clark and was of the Baptist Faith.  She loved spending time with her children, her grandchildren, her boyfriend, and her dog.  She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Family members include her daughter, April Missi Jordan Cobb of Winterville, GA; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Jill Jordan of Mt. Airy, GA; her boyfriend, Bruce Perkins; grandchildren, Asa and Dena Wilbanks, Joshua Wilbanks, Lauren and Chad Weaver, Carmen Jordan, Lindsey and Colt Vaughn, and McKenzie and Christopher Ivester; sister, Catherine Randall; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Cobb; sisters, Brenda Burton, Rachel Segars, and Nell Roach; brothers, Wendall Roach and Herschel Roach.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Bill Stacey officiating.

Cremation will follow.  Inurnment will be at Middle River Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
