Carolyn Pauline Sargent Canter, age 58, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at her home.

Born April 2, 1964 in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Vassie Posten Sargent.

She was a member of Free Chapel in Gainesville, GA and was self-employed.

Family members include her husband, James "Jimmy" Canter; daughters and a son-in-law, Amy and Ashley Henderson of Clarksville, TN and Kelly Mayfield of Braselton, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Melanie Walden of Clermont, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Lawana and Neal Emmitt of Lula, GA and Lynn Thornton of Gainesville, GA; brothers and a sister-in-law, Tony and Christine Sargent of Cleveland, GA and Eddie Cain of Hartwell, GA; her fur baby, Anna Bella Sunshine Canter; grandchildren, Alexis, Kelsey, Alana, Kara, Kyleigh, Jade, Destiny, Cayden, Carson, Caleb, and Candace; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sue Emmitt and Louise Strickland.

The family hosted a memorial service at their home.
