Mrs. Carol T. Womack, age 75 of Toccoa, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her home.

Born July 16, 1946 in Waterbury, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth Blacker Thompson.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was retired from the Stephens County School System.  Carol received her Bachelor Degree from the University Of Georgia and received her Master Degree from Clemson University.

Family members include her husband, Leon Womack; sons, John Craton of Flowery Branch, GA and Tom Craton of Atlanta, Ga; sister and brother-in-law, Jane Ellen Thompson and Bob Gordon of Webster, MA; step-son and his wife, Chris Womack and Jessica of Wauconda, IL; step-daughter and her husband, Kate Weimer and Ian of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Carter Weimer, Jack Weimer, Josslyn Womack, Jayden Womack.

Funeral Mass will be held at eleven o'clock Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Thang Pham "Henry" and Father Pat McCormick officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.
