Carl Eugene "Doc" Brown, age 86, of Martin, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospice House.

Born June 24, 1935, in the Red Hill Community, he was the son of the late Vinson and Laura Jordan Brown. Before retirement he worked as a logger. Mr. Brown was a member of The Church of God of the Union Assembly and was a deacon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter: Kristy Brown Rice; infant son: Jimmy Brown; and brother: Benny Brown.

He is survived by his wife: Beverly Alesia Pierce Brown; daughter & son-in-law: Debbie & Anthony Thomason; grandchildren: Adam Thomason (Sonja), Matthew Thomason (Holly), April Norton (Caleb), Ava Bowers (Stephen), Autumn Alesia Hudgins (Tyler), Elijah Eugene Brown, Alex Brown, Andrii Brown, Lora Brown, Anastasia Brown, Jorja Brown, Jacob Brown and Josiah Brown; and a sister: Mildred "Mick" Supurk.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at The Church of God of the Union Assembly with Rev. Ricky Goff, Rev. Darrell Akins and Rev. Johnny Ogle officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home.
