Bruce Clement Bratten, Sr., age 44, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at Prisma Health in Greenville, SC.

Born November 22, 1976 in Florida, he was the son of Thomas Gibson Bratten, III and the late Yvonne Adrienne Blondell Firth.

He was a member of the Encounter Church and was employed with Stephens County School System.

Family members include his wife, Sherry Lovell Bratten; children, Bruce Clement Bratten, Jr, and Jennifer of Martin, Ethan Kristopher Bratten of Mt. Airy, Arwen Bratten of Toccoa, and Issac Bratten of Toccoa; brother, Thomas Bratten of Toccoa; sister, Amanda Lockhart of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Dante Bratten, Donna Bratten, Lily Turner, Shelby Duncan, Edgar Bratten, Chance Duncan, Hylia Bratten, Zelda Bratten, and Leon Bratten; cousins, Joshua Roby, Carey Kellum, and Justin Bentley; and a daughter-in-law, Macy Duncan.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Marie Chapman Bratten; and his son, Patrick Alvin Rhodes Bratten.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at the Encounter Church at five-thirty Tuesday, August 24, 2021 the Rev. Joshua Garner and the Rev. Bradley Collins officiating.

Cremation will follow.
