Mrs. Billie Ruth Walters McClain, age 99, of Toccoa, GA, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born November 16, 1924 in Carnesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Lizzie Cheek Walters

Mrs. McClain was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and retired from Coats & Clark.

Family members include her son, Jerry McClain of Eastanollee, GA; grandson, Jeremy McClain (Jenny) of Eastanollee, GA; and a granddaughter, Brooke McClain.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Solon McClain and a son, Terry McClain.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 11am until the service hour on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at twelve noon Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Dr. Jaime Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.
