Mrs. Billie Joyce Harris Rimes, age 72, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at her home.

Born November 20, 1948 in Washington DC, she was the daughter of Grace Billie Brown Carter and the late James E. Harris.

She was of the Christian Faith and a retired waitress with Shoney's in Tennessee.  She loved her family and enjoyed coloring by numbers, crocheting, and going to the beach.

Family members include her mother, Grace Billie Carter of Bracey, VA; her children, Michael Wayne Rimes of Toccoa and Wendy Lynn Jones and her husband Jason of Toccoa; grandson, Jaron Jones of Toccoa; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Clinton Dale Rimes; and her sister, Pamela Pierce.
