Mrs. Betty Jean Jones Whitlock, age 81, of  Martin, GA, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born March 22, 1940 in Westminster, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Jones and the late Mary Chapman Jones Tiner.

She was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from T & S Mills.

Family members include her husband, Gene Whitlock; step-children, Kathy Cox, Larry Bruce, Sandra Lingerfelt, and James Whitlock; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until 1pm Thursday, May 6, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at two o'clock Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca, SC.

Burial will follow.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Jackie Davenport, Dustin Davenport, Steve Davenport, Tracy Alvarez, Josh Davenport, and Jeremy Davenport.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorial donations be made to help with funeral expenses.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.  Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.
