Mrs. Betsy Thornton McDaniel, age 88, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born October 21, 1931 in Bainbridge, GA, she was the daughter of the late Judson Warner Thornton and the late Hattie Mae Thornton.

She was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired from Columbus Georgia Airport where she was a bookkeeper.

Family members include her son, Bobby McDaniel of Chattanooga, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Steve Klein of Toccoa; grandchildren, Katie Amanda Edwards, Audrey Leigh Hanson, Christopher Warner Brown, Taylor Thornton Brown, and Abby Rae Brown; and three great-grandchildren.  She was the widow of Lucky McDaniel.

Mrs. McDaniel's wishes were to be cremated.
